Porsche 911 993

The 993 is the last air-cooled 911, and that fact drives most of what has happened to its values. It is also where the engineering caught up with the reputation: a new multi-link rear suspension largely tamed the lift-off oversteer of the earlier cars, and the 3.6-litre flat-six gained a hydraulic valvetrain and, later, Varioram intake tuning. The Turbo introduced twin turbochargers and all-wheel drive to the 911 Turbo line.
