BMW M2 G87

Broad arches and a short coupe body put the G87 M2 at the center of the modern BMW build scene. The regular 2025 US model combines rear-wheel drive with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic: both have a factory rating of 473 hp, with 406 lb-ft for the manual and 443 lb-ft for the automatic. BMW’s June 2026 announcement adds a 2027 M2 xDrive with 473 hp, all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic, scheduled for a late-summer 2026 market launch. Identify the model year and drivetrain before choosing parts. Build the stance around real wheel clearance, tire choice, suspension travel and brake access; the separate M2 CS and modified cars need their own specifications.
